Lisa is a freelance music journalist and copywriter from Reading, UK, with a penchant for indie bands and an ear for shiny new music.

She studied English Literature at Warwick University and graduated with first class honours before going on to gain a Masters degree in Information Management at the University of the West of England. An adept at making descriptive connections across genres and building collections of content, naturally it wasn't long before Lisa came into contact with Suite 101.

While she's currently focusing her attentions on Music, Lisa likes to sprinkle a few articles here there and elsewhere on Suite 101, including Literature, Film, and Business. She writes copy for companies out in the old fashioned physical world too, composing and editing press releases and company literature, and writing articles for industry press. Rumour has it she's pretty knowledgeable about information practices too, including knowledge management and data protection, and has academic pieces submitted in various professional journals.

Lisa lives and works just outside of London in the leafy green county of Berkshire, England. She is a self-confessed bookworm (who reads far too many children's books for a serious literature graduate), budding pianist and part-time theatrical type, and enjoys listening to The Killers, Razorlight, Kings of Leon, Coldplay, the Scissor Sisters and anything that makes the drive home on the M4 a little bit more interesting.

Lisa welcomes writing-related queries, comments and feedback, and is currently available to receive material for possible review. She can also be hired to write original content for both print and online publications.
